Jeffery Dale Scalf, 44, of Columbus formerly of Portsmouth died Mar. 4, 2010 in Tampa, Fla. He is a son of the late Louise Phipps Scalf. He is survived by his wife, Rhoda Kenaga Scalf; two sons, Jeffrey Scalf ll, and wife Michal and Darrick Scalf; one grandchild, Kaden Scalf; two sisters, Wanda Wilson and Marlena Scalf; 5 brothers, Ronnie, Steve, Ted and Pat Scalf and David Brannon; 11 nephews and 11 neices. He was also preceded in death by a brother, William Marcum. Services will be 2 PM Mon. Mar. 8, 2010 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with burial at Big Run cemetery.
