Jeffery R. Apel, Jr, 38, of Wheelersburg passed away Sunday July 24, 2022. He was born November 27, 1983 in Lubbock, TX, a son of Traci Apel of Wheelersburg and the late Jeffery R. Apel, Sr.

He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family. He was a 2003 graduate of Wheelersburg High School,  loved all kind of sports, and played baseball, basketball and football. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle and friend and will be sadly missed by all.
Besides his mother, Jeff is survived a son Hayden; a daughter Kyleigh; two sisters, Michal Maxie and husband Brandon and Sarabeth Bradley all of Wheelersburg; niece and nephews Carly, Brayden and Brody who he was very close to; special cousins, Meagon, Matthew and Caitlyn along with his very special aunt and uncle Sheri and Larry and uncle Scott.
Jeff was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Sue Turner and uncle Larry Wheeler.
Private services will be held at the D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg.
