Jennie Gach Czechlewski, age 97, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2009 , at Holzer Assisted Living-Jackson. She was born on September 16, 1911 , in Yonkers , NY to Antonina Slowakewicz Gach and Kazimir Gach. After living in Astoria , NY for 91 years, she moved to Jackson , Ohio . She is survived by daughter-in-law Wanda Czechlewski of Oak Hill; grandsons Robert Czechlewski of Oak Hill; and Scott Czechlewski (Jennifer) of Wilmington, NC; and great-granddaughter, Leah Czechlewski, of Wilmington. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, her son George, her brother Tadeus (Teddy) Gach, and her sister-in-law Ruth. Services will be held Tuesday, August 25 at 12:00 Noon, at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster, with Rev. Rusty Larder officiating. Burial will be at South Webster Cemetery . Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
