Jerry W. Hammonds, 74, of South Webster passed away Tuesday September 6, 2022. He was born January 8, 1949 in South Webster, a son of the late Grover and Edith (Rudd) Hammonds.

Jerry was a graduate of North Adams County High School, was a Cattle Farmer and a Wheeler Dealer who enjoyed trading anything.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Candace (Lockhart) Hammonds; a son, Jacob Pertuset of San Francisco, CA; a sister, Lavonda Grooms and husband David of Oklahoma.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Joe Hammonds, Jack Hammonds, Jim Hammonds and Phil Hammonds.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday September 8, 2022 at South Webster Cemetery with Pastor Merit Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
