Joseph Rodney Lewis, 75, of New Boston passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his home. He was born in Portsmouth on October 20, 1945 to the late Glenn and Garnett (Price) Lewis.  Joe enjoyed woodworking and making things out of wood. He was also an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State.

Joe is survived by one daughter, Christie Lewis and husband Jason Craycraft of New Boston; a brother, Paul T. Lewis of Vermont; Several nieces and nephews; and a good buddy, Jim Gunnell and wife Shelley of Portsmouth.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Brian Lewis; a brother, Donald M. Lewis;  a sister, Glenna Grayson; a brother in law, Don Grayson. The family would like to give a special thanks to Heartland Hospice and his special nurse, Amy McClurg.
