It is with great sadness to announce that, Joseph Michael Ober, has passed away at the age of 53 on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

Joey (better known as JoBer), was born to the late Steve Ober and Danelle (Zvara) Ober on July 20, 1972, in Oberlin, Ohio.  He was preceded in death by his father, and both sets of grandparents, along with many other loved ones including, a great niece Elizabeth Grace Ober.  He is survived by his mother, two sisters, Dawn (Lee) Howe of Lucasville and Jenny (Tate) Stiles of South Webster, 2 daughter, Alexis Ober of Cincinnati and Hadlee Morgan of McDermitt and three sons, Austin King, Brady Ober and Ethan King all or Portsmouth, Ohio.  At this time, there is no service planned.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster.
