Joyce E. Pierce, 77, of Wheelersburg passed away Wednesday April 21, 2021. She was born March 3, 1944 in Pauldine, OH a daughter of the late George and Bertha Fannin Lawson.
She was a member of Stoney Run Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Joyce is survived by a son, Kenneth Pierce and wife Connie of Marion, Janet Wilbur of Hamden and Debra Madison and husband Robert of Wheelersburg; a sister Helena Lawson of Jackson; 12 grandchildren, Ashley Wilbur, Kimburly Wilbur, Ryan Wilbur, Michael Wilbur, Shirley Wilbur, Jennifer Wilbur, Heather Hill, Missy Pierce, Ashley (Wesley) Higgins, Nicole Pierce, Chelsea Pierce and Katlyn Britton; 9 great-grandchildren and several other stepbrothers and sisters. She was also preceded in death by her husband Kenneth E. Pierce Sr.; sisters, Louise Holsinger, Mary Sharp, Sylena Hilt, and Irene Barnett; brothers George, Virgil and Eugene Lawson and Tommy Simpson; niece Wanda Wilburn.
Services will be 1:00 PM Monday April 26, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with interment to follow at Butler Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
