Age 83, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at her daughter's home in Lucasville. She was born in Redwine, KY on August 29, 1930 to Harry and Grace (Jewell) Todd. Juanita attended Glenwood High School in New Boston. She met her husband, Bill, in elementary school and eventually married him, a marriage which lasted for over 63 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, reading, and cooking. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; one daughter, Phyllis Cooper of Lucasville; two grandchildren, Carrie Lynn Burgett and Aaron Cooper, both of Portsmouth; three grandchildren, Chance Craycraft, Alex and Autumn Burgett; many nieces and nephews including Robert Todd and his wife Sparkle of Lucasville, Debbie Bazler (Dennis) of West Portsmouth; sister-in-law, Barbara Todd of Sciotoville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children who died in infancy, Jacqueline and Gary Lee, as well as all her brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Portsmouth.
