Julia Ferreira, 96, of Argillite, KY formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 at SOMC in Portsmouth.  Julia was born January 6, 1928 in Manhattan, NY to the late Augastine Tirado.  Julia loved to dance with her late husband Milton Ferreira.  She also loved to cook for her family, she loved to shop and Julia took her family bowling every Friday night and went to the beach every Saturday and Sunday morning.

Julia is survived by her son, Joseph Evertsy and wife Roberta of Argillite, KY; two daugthers Carmelita Evertiz and Lidya both of Saratoga Springs, NY; three grandchildren, Julia, Samantha, and Corinne; three great grandchildren.  Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Ferreira; two sons, Samuel Gonzalez and Papo Ferreira; three brothers, Anibal (Ani) Tirado, Peter Tirado and John Tirado; two sisters, Augistina Tirado and Esther.
