Karen Sue Colegrove, 71, of New Boston went to be with the Lord on Thursday Feb. 5, 2015 at her residence. She was born June 23, 1943 in Portsmouth a daughter of the late Payton Horsley and Nannie Bell Cassity-Hamilton.

She is survived by five daughters, Tina (Charles) Gullett, Jody Payton, Angela Colegrove, Tracy (Roger) Walters and Jenny (Jeff) Colegrove; a sister, Kay Mills; two brothers, Wayne Horsley and James Hamilton; grandchildren, Amy, Tami, Andy, Mandy, Taylor, Chris, Cory, Goldee, Tony, Blake, Zach and Maddy and 13 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James W. (Jim) Colegrove, a sister, Freda Hamilton-Roe ; a brother, Carl Hamilton; and grandparents, Louettie Cassity Holtz and Johnny Cassity.

Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday Feb. 10, 2015 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with interment to follow at Memorial Burial Park.
