Age 76 of Portsmouth passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Columbus. She was born February 10, 1941 in Portsmouth to Frank David and Gertrude (Smith) Holbrook. On October 19, 1963 she married Norman Peck in Dayton and celebrated 53 years together. Karen enjoyed crocheting, bingo, and loved to play cards.

She is survived by her husband, Norman; daughter, Kristy (Jerrod) Dyer of Wheelersburg; sister, Mary Thelma Scarberry of Portsmouth; grandchildren, Susan and Gabrielle Peck; great-grandchildren, Mariah, Alyssa, and Layla Dyer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, David Holbrook; two sons, James Ellis Peck and Norman D. Peck, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with Pastor Mike Simpson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
