Oneda K. "Katie" Wright, 53, fo Minford died Tues. April 15, 2010 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born March 10, 1957 in Portsmouth, a daughter of William and Virginia Morgan Patterson of Minford. She was a former Rainbow Girl and Shawnee State Cheerleader. Katie is also survived by a son, Justin Wright and wife Tana of Portsmouth; two daughters, Maggie McGraw and Ashley Bailey both of Sciotoville; a sister, Patti Smith and husband Kinny of Sciotoville; two brothers, Michael Patterson and wife Taffey of Mt. Vernon and Danny Patterson of Columbus; 7 grandchildren, Amber, Zoey, Rachel, Chandler, Michael, Brayden and Lily Marie and neices and nephews, Monica, Devon, Kenny, Will, Luke and Jeanne and a very special friend, Scot Evans of Sciotoville. The family would like to give special thanks to SOMC Hospice Center Staff and Garnet, Kelly and Mike. Services will be 2 PM Monday, April 19, 2010 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Roy Chaffin officiating. Burial will be at Scioto Burial Park. Visitation will be Sunday 5 to 8 PM and Monday 1 to 2 PM at D.W. Swick in New Boston.
