Obituary

Age 78 of Wheelersburg, went to be with the Lord December 13, 2011 at Concord Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 27, 1933 in Olive Hill, KY to Lige and Ida (Johnson) Bradley. He worked as a barber in New Boston, then at Empire Detroit Steel, and finally as a boiler operator at the prison in Lucasville until his retirement. He especially loved farming, raising Black Angus cattle, and cars. Ken was a longtime member of Antioch Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Betty; one son Larry Bradley of Chillicothe; one brother, Sam Bradley (Anita) of Portsmouth; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Clarence Bradley and a sister, Sylvia Conley. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Rick Henderson officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace with the James Dickey Post #23 providing military honors. Friends may call Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m and Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Heartland Hospice.
