Age 39 of Sciotoville, died accidently May 2, 2017, due to a fall at his work in Meridian, MS. He was born January 25, 1978 in Portsmouth to Silas Runyon Jr. and Katherine (Hazelbaker). He was a 1996 East High School graduate and was a longtime worker with cell tower construction throughout the country. He loved four wheeling, hunting, working on cars, and was a self-taught quality woodworker.

He is survived by a son, Tyler Runyon; two daughters, Alyssa and Layken Runyon, all of Sciotoville; mother, Kay Bates of Sciotoville; father, Silas Runyon Jr. of Wheelersburg; one brother, Derek (Melissa) Runyon of Delonga, GA; grandmother, Deloris Risner of Sciotoville; nephew, Cade Runyon. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Hazelbaker.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with Pastor Lynn Wessell officiating.
