Larry A. Charles, 53, fo Scioto Furnace died Tues., Aug. 24, 2010 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born May 3, 1957 in Scioto County, a son of the late Troy and Anna Conrad Charles. Larry was a former truck driver and is survived by his wife, Priscilla Reed Charles; two sons, Albert Charles and James Charles both of Scioto Furnace; a stepson, Chris Reed of Portsmouth; one brother, Butch (Linda) Charles of Wheelersburg; three sisters, Cathy Charles of Scioto Furnace, Debbie Baker of Portsmouth and Julie (Pat) Dixon of South Webster and a granddaughter, Haleigh Charles. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Reed.Services will be 1 PM Sat., Aug. 28, 2010 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster with burial at Scioto Furnace cemetery.
