Age 53 of Portsmouth, passed away Wednesday October 5, 2016 at SOMC Hospice Center. He was born November 13, 1952 in Portsmouth a son of the late James Delbert Davis and Betty Channel Medley. He attended Millers Run Church and Rehoboth Mission and was a member of United Commercial Travelers.

Larry is survived by his wife, Catherine Atkins Davis; a daughter, Tabatha (Jason) Hinch of Lucasville; three stepsons, Cecil Neely of Lucasville, Rick (Frances) Osborne II of Portsmouth, and Chris Atkins of Warren; three sisters, Beverly Odell of Springfield, Angie Pentheny of Portsmouth, and Tina (Mike) Brannigan of Wheelersburg; six brothers, Jim (Judy) Davis of Phoenix, AZ, Dan Hamilton, Robert (Angie) Davis, Dave (Vicki) Hamilton all of Portsmouth, Mark Hamilton of Springfield, Jeff Davis of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Dylan, Kyle and Chris; and his best friend, Joseph Weeks of West Portsmouth. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Edward Hamilton, Claude Hamilton, Billy Davis, Paul Hamilton, Bruce Hamilton; and two sisters, Linda Adkins and Rosemary Adkins.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday October 8, 2016 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastors Robert Alexander and David Lute officiating.
