Age 65 of South Webster, passed away Wednesday December 9, 2015 at his residence. He was born January 1, 1950 in Greenup, KY, a son of Ruth Plummer Arrowood of Portsmouth and the late John Hammons. Larry was a former construction worker.

He is also survived by a son, Larry Shane Hammons and wife Heather of South Webster; a daughter, Mary "Tina" Fiffe of Scioto Furnace; 3 brothers, Bob Hammons, Jim Hammons, and Mike Hammons; 1 sister, Crickett; 4 grandchildren, Corey Wilburn, Cody Fiffe, Taylor Hammons, and Alexis Bise. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Hammons, and a brother, Buck Hammons.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with interment to follow at Scioto Furnace Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
