Larry Joe Thacker 61, of Minford died Nov. 6, 2014 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. He was born July 28, 1953 in Pikeville, KY. a son of the late Robert and Ethel Baker Thacker. He was of the Freewill Baptist Faith and member of the Portsmouth Moose Club. He is survived by a daughter, Crystal Lea McCoy of South Williamson, KY.; a son, Larry Eugene Thacker of Minford; a sister, Regina Whitt of Minford; 6 grandchildren, Matthew Joseph Thacker, Tyler Lee Thacker, Devon Breane Thacker, Kalyn McKenzie, Kerri Lea McCoy and Dusti Lucas Thacker. He is also preceded by 2 brothers, Roger Thacker and Fred Spriggs. Services will be 2 PM Sun. Nov. 9, 2014 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN SOUTH WEBSTER with interment to follow at White cemetery in Minford. Visitation will be Sat. 6 to 8 PM and Sun. 1 to 2 PM at the funeral home.
