Lena Arlene Kittles, 91, of Wheelersburg, passed away Monday November 18, 2024 at Grant Medical Center. She was born December 4, 1932 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Woodrow and Ruth (Holman) Hyland.

She was a former Dietary Supervisor at Southern Ohio Medical Center for 43 years. Lena was a member of the former Scioto Furnace United Methodist Church where she played the piano. She enjoyed watching game shows and spending time with her family and great grandchildren.

Lena is survived by a son, Thomas Kittles and wife Rita, a grandson, Matthew Kittles of South Webster; three great grandchildren, Erica Gillum and Emily Coppler of Upper Sandusky, OH, Rebecca Ware and husband Robby of Portsmouth, Rachel Caldwell and husband Christian of South Webster; two great-great grandchildren, Logan Caldwell and Lukas Caldwell.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Kittles whom she married on June 6, 1950 and a granddaughter, Tabetha Gillum.

Graveside Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday November 23, 2024 at South Webster Cemetery with Pastor Carl Collier officiating.
