Lillian Bowen Mollett, 86 of Franklin Furnace, passed away at her home on October 5, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 3, 1929 in Inez, KY to Clifford and Ruby (Bradley) Bowen. She was a loving wife, mother, and Mamaw and spend many years raising and caring for her family.

She was survived by six sons, Clayton (Adela) Mollett of Monterrey, Mexico, Harold (Anita) Mollett, Rick (Cheryl) Mollett, David Mollett, Tony (Brenda) Mollett, all of Franklin Furnace, and Tim Mollett of Lucasville; three daughters, Delores (Ray) Carrington of Wheelersburg, Doris (Gordon) White of Wheelersburg, Connie (Jack) Boggs of Franklin Furnace; two brothers, Defort and Uvon Bowen; one sister, Phyllis Bowen; sixteen grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; and would like remembered all her friends at Sand Hill Christian Baptist Church of Wheelersburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert; one daughter, Minny; one great-grandaughter, Karlee; and two brothers, Hermie "Buddy" and Forest Bowen.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Ronnie Blevins officiating. Interment will follow at Mollett Cemetery in Green Township. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour before the service.
