Linda Lou Hammonds, 77, formerly of South Webster, passed away Saturday April 2, 2022. She was born October 17, 1944 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Hezzie and Chole (Wolfe) Hall. She was  Co-Owner of the former Hammond Hardware, enjoyed baking, cooking and working with her flowers.
Linda is survived by a son, Scott Barnett and wife Debbie of Wheelersburg; a sister, Towana Hall of West Portsmouth and a grandson, Zack Barnett. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hammond; two brothers, Quenton Hall and James Dallas Hall.
Memorial services will be 4 PM Monday April 11, 2022 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Ralph Clay officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at Hall-Smith Cemetery in Kentucky.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 3 to 4 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
