Linda Sue Dyer, 72, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born June 26, 1947, a daughter of the late Harold and Esther (Stapleton) Hammonds. She was a homemaker, a 1967 graduate of Green High School, loved flowers, goldfish, going thru old pictures, watching Wheel of Fortune, and spending time with her family.

Linda is survived by two daughters, Christel Dyer of South Shore, KY and Karen and Derrick Timberlake of South Shore, KY; a brother Joe Stevens and Annie of South Webster; a sister, Helen Skaggs of Franklin Furnace; Asburry Dyer; three grandchildren, Casey Crusan, Emma Timberlake and Carter Timberlake. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Stevens and Roger Stevens as well as a son, Craig Dyer who died as a result of a stillbirth.

Services will be 5:00 pm Saturday, October 26, 2019 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Pastor Rick Mollett officiating. Interment will follow at Junior Furnace Cemetery.
