Linda Bauer Morrison, 54, of New Boston died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011 at her residence. She was born January 1, 1957, a daughter of Frances Mingus Bauer of Portsmouth, and the late Lawrence G. Bauer. She was a graduate of SSU. Linda is also survived by her life partner, Peto; one son, Chris (Opal) Morrison; three daughters, Anna Chenault, Nikita Morrison, Miracle Penix; three grandchildren, Abigail, Johnny, and Leland, as well as many close friends and family. She was also preceded in death by one son, John Q. Morrison. A memorial service will be held at the conveince of the family. D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston is assisting the family.
