Age 67 of Wheelersburg, passed away on August 12, 2016 at her home.  She was born in Parkersburg, WV on December 7, 1948 to David and Della Mae (Heinzman) Herdman.  She was a 1967 graduate of Mifflin High School in WV.  A devoted homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, and crocheting, she was most happy when spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by one daughter, Dawn Hylton of Wheelersburg; one son, John (Tami) Nathan of Sciotoville; two brothers, Bobbie Dean Herdman of Sciotoville, Randy (Carol) Herdman of Wheelersburg; two sisters, Mary (Aaron) Bishop of Columbus, Rhonda Wilson of PA; seven grandchildren, Rebecca, Jessica, John, Jamie, Shawn, Justin, Andy; five great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Adelie, Liam, Scott "Peanut", and Hunter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, in 2001.

Funeral services for Linda will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Trudy Wright officiating.  Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour before the service on Thursday.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com
