Linda Walker, age 42, of Portsmouth, went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2010, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. She was born March 17, 1967 in Portsmouth to Donald Caseman and the late Margaret (Miller) Caseman. In addition to her mother, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Kimberly Bettis. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Rick Walker, one daughter, Shay Walker; one son DeRick Walker, both of Portsmouth; three stepsons, Ricky (Becky) Walker of Portsmouth, Dustin Walker of Wheelersburg, Andy Walker of Greensboro, N.C.; one granddaughter, Laci; Father Donald Caseman of Rubyville; two brothers, Donald (Judy) Caseman Jr. of Rubyville, Steven (Stephanie) Caseman of Twin Valley; several nieces and nephews. Linda enjoyed her family and friends. One of her favorite pastimes was travelling and shopping with her daughter Shay. She rededicated her life to Jesus on March 4, 2009 and was a member of Rubyville Community Church. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastors Calvin Ray Evans and Brian Baer officiating. Interment will follow at Rubyville Community Church Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 3 - 8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to SOMC Hospice. Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville is handling the arrangements.
