Age 77 of Wheelersburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.  She was born October 7, 1940 in Waconda, IL to Leo and Opal (Marshall) Carbone.  Lois enjoyed working on the farm, sewing, and crocheting.

She is survived by sons, Donald Stepp Jr. of West Portsmouth and Wayne Stepp of Wheelersburg; daughter, Kathy Stepp of Chicago, IL; sisters, Audrey Hudson of Olany, IL, Wilma Jean Rohkohl of Lake Havasu, AZ; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.  In addition to her husband Donald, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Melanie Hutchinson; sisters, Gladys Preston, Wanda Baker, and Willa Mae Monday.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Keith Monroe officiating.  Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Wheelersburg.  Friends may call on Friday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.  Online condolences may be shared at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
