Lonnie Cook Sr., 5 6 of South Webster passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at his home.  He was born March 30, 1964 in Portsmouth to Jesse and Patsy Cook.  Lonnie graduated from South Webster High School in 1983.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and riding 4-wheelers.  His grandchildren were his pride and joy.  Lonnie's dog Miley was like another child to him and she stayed by his side until he passed.  He enjoyed being outside and always keeping busy.  Lonnie was an extra special person who would help anybody who needed it with a helping hand.

He is survived by two sons, Lonnie (Tiffney) Cook Jr. of South Webster, Robert Cook of Ravenswood, WV; one daughter, Elizabeth (Nicholas) Robinson of Kettering; grandchildren, Zander and Dakota Cook of South Webster, Scarlett Cook of Jackson, Chase Ashley, Colin, Lily, Kendra, and Leo Robinson all of Kettering; parents Jesse and Patsy Cook of South Webster; four brothers and two sisters, Carl Cook, Jimmy Cook, Ronnie Cook, Danny (Tonya) Cook; Denise (Douglas) Gregory all of South Webster, And Teresa (Wayne) Risner of Minford, his girlfriend of many years Connie Hammonds; a very special young man he considered like a son, Ryan (Crystal) Kelley and their children who were like grandchildren as well, Caden, Dante, and Adrianna Kelley, all of Wheelersburg; many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sue and Jesse Cook and Mary Ann and Max Keller.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2020 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Jesse Cook officiating.  Interment will follow in South Webster Cemetery.  Friends may call Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster is handling the arrangements.
