Loretta Shively, 78, of Wheelersburg passed away Thursday March 18, 2021 at Community Hospice in Ashland. She was born June 4, 1942 in Scioto County a daughter of the late Paul D. Riley and Ada Kathryn (Lundy) Riley.
She attended Portsmouth West Schools, was the secretary for the former Dr. Keith Gaspich, worked at Alice Kay Fashions and Marting's. She was a member of Waits Baptist Church where she volunteered in many church activities. She loved to read her Bible, helping others and being around her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Loretta is survived by two daughters, Nenna Bayes and husband Bruce of Flatwoods, KY, Donna Dill and husband Mike of Kingwood, TX; two brothers, Doug Riley and wife Pat of Lucasville, Danny Riley and Barbie of West Portsmouth; grandchildren, Jennifer Bayes, Andrew (Ashley) Bayes, Josh (Sarah) Dill and Joey Dill ; great-grandchildren, Addison, Alianna and Aubriella Bayes, Brian and Rebekah Dill. She was also preceded in death by her husband Donald M. Shively whom she married on August 16, 1958 in Rushtown.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday March 20, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Reverend Kevin Pitt officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home.
