Lottie Ester Smith McBrayer, 94, a native of South Webster, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was born April 5, 1916 in Jackson County to the late William and Sarah Williams Smith. Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, Earl (April, 1988) whom she married on April 4, 1936; two sons, Robert and James; one grandson, Barry Miller; one great-grandson, Timothy Gilmore; two sisters, Goldie Fowler, Edna Broderick and a brother, George Smith. She is survived by two sons, Bill (Dolly) McBrayer of Wheelersburg, Will (Sis) McBrayer of Boyce, LA; one daughter, Ruth Waring of Marysville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. Lottie worker as a PostMistress at Eifort, Ohio; worked in the kitchen at Scioto Memorial Hospital in Portsmouth, as well as running a grocery store and gas station with her husband Earl, on Route 140 near South Webster. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 24, 2010 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster with Rev. roy Willis officiating. Burial will be at South Webster cemetery.
