Louise Chamberlin, 89 of Wheelersburg, died Monday, February 16, 2015 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth. She was born December 5, 1925 in Scioto County, the daughter of the late Edward Stedman and Lillian Alberta Morgan Russell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ray Chamberlin, whom she married on December 25, 1942 in Portsmouth; 3 brothers, Marion, Paul, and Leroy Russell; and one sister, Helen Cassidy. Louise loved to quilt, bowl, golf, and especially spend time with her grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the Union Free Will Baptist Church in Wheelersburg.

Louise is survived by one son, Marion "Pete" Chamberlin and wife Charlotte, of Wheelersburg; 2 daughters, Barbara Gampp and husband Dale, of Portsmouth; Teresa "Teri" Hobson and husband Dave, of Minford; one brother, William Russell and wife Helen of Medway; seven grandchildren, Zane Chamberlin and wife Emily, Lori Oesch and husband John, Jodi Cooper and husband Jeff, Lisa McCray and husband Shaun, Lynn Gampp and husband Owen Waske, Kristyn Hobson and Derik Hobson; and six great-grandchildren, Aaron (Brittany), Ashley and Austin Oesch, Jared and Jonas McCray, and Kacey Chamberlin.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Union Free Will Baptist Church in Wheelersburg, with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating and interment in Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg and one hour prior to the services on Friday at the church.
