Obituary

Age 88 of South Webster, went to be with the Lord July 18, 2016 at SOMC in Portsmouth.  She was born February 16, 1928 in Scioto Furnace to Peter and Bessie (Call) Hoffman.  Madeline loved reading the bible, taking walks, and was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by one daughter Brenda (James "Skip") Leslie of South Shore; seven grandchildren, Melanie James, Michael Leslie, Misty (Ralph) Imes, James (Tracey) Rawlins, Eric (Jaime) Rawlins, Alicia Rawlins, Amber Rawlins; 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James, a son James, two brothers, Earl and Leslie Hoffman, and a great-grandson Eric Rawlins Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2016 at D.W. SWICK – NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastors Cline McAllister and Michael Leslie officiating.  Interment will follow in Scioto Furnace Cemetery.
