Margaret Lou Collins, of Portsmouth, died Monday July 15, 2013 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born June 29, 1931 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Winton and Stella (Snyder) Buckley. She was a 1949 graduate of Glenwood High School, graduated from The Ohio State University with a nursing degree, and was an Eastern Star. She is survived by her son, Gene Collins Jr. and wife Marie of New Boston; a daughter, Brenda Maksimoviv of Columbus; and 2 grandchildren, Elisa Collins and Eugene Collins. She was also preceded in death by he husband, Eugene Collins, a brother, Harry (Bud) Buckley and 3 sisters, Madeline Litterial, Virginia Church and Catherine Lewis. Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday July 18, 2013 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Pastor Mark Bales officiating. Interment will follow at Scioto Burial Park.
