Margaret Lee Preast, 79 of Sciotoville, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at her residence. She was born on August 8, 1937 in Fayette City, WV, the daughter of the late Charley and Ester Frye Totten. Margaret was a member of the Harvest Chapel Community Church in Sciotoville.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Thomas Preast, whom she married on June 23, 1956 in Swiss, WV; two sons, Michael (Mary) Preast of Sciotoville and Larry (Jackie) Preast of Wheelersburg; 3 sisters, Mildred Makley of Charleston, WV, Edith Totten of Gauley, WV and Phyllis Skinner of Charleston, WV; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, with Pastor Ronald Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
