Age 88 of Wheelersburg, passed away on November 6, 2015 at her home in the presence of her family. She was born on April 27, 1927 in Inez, KY to Vince and Leona (Spence) Mollett. She spent her life taking care of her family and was known as a wonderful cook. Marie was a member of Living Word Pentecostal Church in Highland Bend.

Marie is survived by her husband, Frank; 3 sons, Raymond Skaggs (Helen), William Skaggs, Samuel Skaggs (Brenda), all of Franklin Furnace; 5 daughters, Carolyn Ruggles (Arnold) of Ironton, Helen Williams (Clifford) of Flatwoods, KY, Bonnie McKenzie (Ray) of Ironton, Karen Bailey (George) of Pedro, Debbie Horner (Homer) of Wheelersburg; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Skaggs.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Ronnie Blevins officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 - 6 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace.
