Marilyn Adkins, 79, of Portsmouth passed away Saturday Jan. 3, 2015. She was born Jan. 18, 1935 in Scioto Co., a daughter of the late Charles and Cora Wright Stout.

She is survived by four sons, Anthony Adkins of Portsmouth, Troy (Marie) Adkins of Frankfort, OH., Carl Adkins and Kevin Adkins both of Portsmouth; two sisters, Bertha Will of Portsmouth and Dot Twinam of Wheelersburg; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded by her husband, Henry Adkins, 4 sisters, Jacqueline Waters, Frances Wagner, Ellen Davis and Geneva Stout.

Services will be 1 PM Tuesday Jan. 6, 2015 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON. Visitation will be Tuesday 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home. Condolences to www.dwswickfuneralhome.com.
