Marilyn Ruth Lykins, 68 of Wheelersburg, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the SOMC Hospice Care in Portsmouth. She was born April 30, 1948 in South Webster the daughter of the late Charles Ogal and Bessie Mae Rawlins Fout. Marilyn was also preceded in death by one sister, Charlene Jarrells.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, William C. Lykins, Jr. of Wheelersburg, whom she married on June 28, 1969 at the Sandy Hook Christian Baptist Church; one son, William C. Lykins, III of Wheelersburg; one daughter, Christi (Dennis) Haddox of Wheelersburg; 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew and Austin Haddox; and three sisters, Judy (Bennie) Newsome of South Webster, Bondeen (James) Curry of Wheelersburg and Wilma (Clyde) McCleese of South Webster.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, with Pastor Ronnie Blevins officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to the services on Friday.
