Age 63 of Wheelersburg passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born June 23, 1952 in Ypsilanti, MI, a son of the late Cecil and Louise Chapman Blake. He was a member of Bloom Freewill Baptist Church and retired from Pepsi Cola Bottling Company of Franklin Furnace in 2012 as their Production Manager.

Mark is survived by his wife of 43 years, Brenda Watson Blake, who he married on September 5, 1972; a son, Rob Blake and wife Patty, a daughter, Kelly Gleim and husband Daniel all of Wheelersburg; three brothers, Butch Blake and Mike Blake, both of Michigan, and John Blake of Texas; two sisters, Gloria Dufek and Shirley Caddell, both of Michigan; and a grandchild, Elijah Blake. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tom Blake, a sister, Pat Williams, and in-laws, Ken and Lorrie Watson.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Desco Credit Union location to help with medical expenses.
