Mark Allen Brown, 44, of Rarden, died Friday, February 6, 2009 . He was born March 7, 1964 in Sandusky, OH. a son of Albert and Mary Bloomfield Brown of Rt. 140 Wheelersburg. He formerly attended Minford High School and was a painter. Besides his parents, he is survived by a son, Levi Brown ; a daughter, Colleen Gilley and a son-in-law, Huey Smith all of Rarden; four brothers, Michael Brown of West Portsmouth, Patrick Brown of Portsmouth, VA., Jimmy Brown of Lakewood, OH. and Danny Brown of Sciotoville;one granddaughter, Ashley Smith; 3 aunts and 2 uncles. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Beth Ann Smith and two grandchildren. Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Rev. Lorenzo Bentley Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Smith Family Cemetery in Rarden. Visitation will be Monday 5 to 8 PM and Tuesday 10 to 11 AM at D.W. Swick in New Boston.
