Age 82 of Portsmouth, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at her home. She was born September 1, 1934 in Crandall, TN to William Dante and Mary (Wood) Buchanan. A 1954 graduate of Bluefield High School in WV, Mary retired as a cashier for Harts Family Center. She loved people and always had a smile for everyone. Mary enjoyed math TV, reading with the kids, and was a longtime, faithful member of 1st United Presbyterian Church in Portsmouth.

She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Holland and Cindy Neeley, both of Portsmouth; grandchildren, Andrea (Chad) McDaniel of Lucasville, Brett Neeley of Portsmouth; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Zach, Haleigh, and Caleigh; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Conley; son, Donnie Conley; brothers and sisters, Charlie, Ambrouse, J.B., Lola, Grethel, Catherine, and Alex.
