Age 81 of Portsmouth passed away Wednesday June 6, 2018 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born September 26, 1936, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Lola Munion Dill. She was a Member of Victory Baptist Church. She loved to crochet and has sold her items all over the country. She also enjoyed making clothes and being a homemaker.

Mary is survived by her husband, Bill Bower; three sons, Gary (Sharon) Dill of Portsmouth, Charles Bower and Jody Bower, both of Coeburn, VA; a daughter, Lori McGill of Coeburn, VA; one brother, Lawrence Dill of Chillicothe; one sister, Anna Marie (John) Baker of South Webster; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Mae Miller.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 9, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Paul Gibson officiating.
