Mary Frances Reed Gilmore, 98, of Wheelersburg, passed away Monday February 19, 2024. She was born April 8, 1925 in Winchester, KY, a daughter of the late Archie and Anna Elkins Brinegar.

She formerly attended Wheelersburg Baptist Church, worked for 14 years at Koch Hardware and worked at Pop's Place and the Melody Drive-In.
She was an avid collector who loved auctions and garage sales.

Mary is survived by a son, Jimmy Ray Reed and wife Carol of Sciotoville; two daughters, Ann Buckley and husband Allan of Galloway, OH; Pat Moore and husband Charles of South Shore, KY, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  Mary was also preceded in death by two husbands, Delmon Reed and Woodrow Gilmore; a brother, Archie Brinegar; and a sister, Ella Jean Shaffer.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday February 22, 2024 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Pastor Brad Brandt officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park . Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.
