Mary "Missy" Wright Iriarte, 47 of Sidney, Ohio, formerly of Minford, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at her home after a hard 8 month battle with Ewing Sarcoma. She was born, Feb. 19, 1969 in Portsmouth, the daughter of Ida Jenkins Wright, who survives. Missy was a 1987 graduate of Minford High School, where she was a member of the basketball, volleyball and track teams and a graduate of the Mt. Vernon Nazarene College with her degree in Social Work, She was baptized at the Scioto Christian Church and was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan. Missy was a independent, headstrong and loving mother, sister and friend.

Missy is also survived by two daughters, Britney Iriarte of Orlando, FL and Brooklyn Iriarte of Sidney; one brother, Dale Wright of Wheelersburg and two nieces, Emily (Justin) Sharp and Tori Wright.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2016 at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Brian Enz officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Garden in Franklin Furnace. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
