Mary Alice Lawhun, 86, of Wheelersburg, formerly of South Webster passed away Saturday November 2, 2024. She was born September 25, 1938 in Portsmouth a daughter of the late Ollie and Mae Queen Stiles.

She had formerly worked at Williams Manufacturing Co, Best Care and Greenbriar Convalescent Centers in Wheelersburg and at Heritage Square. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Reds on TV, cooking, shopping and she loved ironing!

Mary is survived by a son, Odie Lawhun and wife Karen and a daughter, Lisa Lawhun all  Wheelersburg; 4 grandchildren, Corey (Katie) Lawhun, Tanner (Kaitlyn) Lawhun, Dillan Lewis and Daylor Lewis; grandchildren, Carter, Keagan, Cameron, Braxton and Reid; special nieces, Derria Kelley and Tina Canter along with great nephews and niece Kelton, Kaden and Tori.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Lawhun whom she married on February 6, 1956 in Wheelersburg, a sister Paulina Hilt; six brothers, Paul, Richard, Dan, Addison, Harold and George Stiles.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday November 5, 2024 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Zack Conkel officiating. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 to 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
