Obituary

Mary Louise Cottle, 96 of Wheelersburg, died Monday, July 28, 2014 at SOMC Hospice. Louise was born on January 7, 1918 in Lucasville, the daughter of the late Ray and Nettie Thompson McKenzie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Cottle; a sister, Ethel (Buck) Smith; and 4 brothers, Lowell (Ilene), Ralph (Helen), Forrest (Marie), and Paul McKenzie. Louise loved gardening, animals and photography.

Louise is survived by one sister-in-law, Ilene McKenzie of Portsmouth and several very special nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Rev. James Benner officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday. Codolences may be sent to the family at www.swickbusschamberlin.com . In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to SOMC Hospice for their great care.
