Mary Katherine Adams, 94 of Wheelersburg, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born December 10, 1925 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Stanley and Lula Mae (Cassidy) Nickel. She was a retired Cook / Supervisor from Wheelersburg Elementary School where she had worked for many years. She was also a graduate of the former Sciotoville High School, presently East High School, and loved to knit and crochet.

Mary is survived by three sons, Danny Lee Adams and wife, Deanna of Wheelersburg, Jerry Lee Adams and wife, Madge of Palm Bay, FL, and Robert Eugene Adams; a sister, Delores Batterson of Cincinnati; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Adams and a sister, Thelma Witmer.

Private interment was held at Sunset Memorial Gardens with arrangements being handled by Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville.
