Age 54 of Portsmouth, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus. Evelyn was born October 28, 1963 to the late Charles Edward and Janet (Gardener) Queen in Los Angeles, California. She loved fishing, gardening, bird watching, swimming, hiking, and anything to do with the outdoors. She also loved to cook, remodel houses and work on cars, computers and anything electronic.

Evelyn is survived by a stepmother, Tammie Queen; three sons, Bobby Baldridge (Kayla) of Wheelersburg, Jonny Sparks of Portsmouth, and Joshua Queen (Heather) of Portsmouth; three brothers, Eddie Queen of Texas, Stevie Queen (Robin) of Portsmouth, and Jake Queen (Corina) of Portsmouth; seven sisters, Theresa Glasgow (Steve) of Texas, Tammy Sexton of Sciotoville, Amanda Bentley (Lorenzo) of Minford, Sophia Blakemore (Garrett) of Minford, Angela Queen of Minford, Rosie Queen (Marc Charles) of South Webster, Tina Murphy (Michael) of Minford; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Evelyn was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Marlene Queen.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 at the D.W. SWICK – NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Pastor Steve Luster officiating. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery.
