Mary Ellen Lehman Tyler 81, of Wheelersburg went to be with the love of her life, Marion Tyler Sr. on Saturday June 19, 2021. She was born January 17, 1940 in Van, WV. a daughter of the late Herbert and Bertha (Renfroe) Lehman.

Mary was a retired registered nurse having started with the Manpower LPN Program and receiving her RN Degree from Hocking College. She loved following the Cincinnati Reds, taking care of her garden and working with her flowers. She enjoyed watching and studying birds and going fishing. Mary always enjoyed traveling with her late husband of 61 years, Marion Tyler and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild.

She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Webb of Portsmouth; a brother, Clifford (Martha) Lehman of Muncie, IN; grandchildren, Tyler Webb and wife Bobbie of Portsmouth, Stephanie Adkins and husband Brandon of Wheelersburg and a great-grandchild, Levi Lewis, brother-in-law Charles Tyler of Wheelersburg and sister-in-law Judy Lehman of Muncie, IN., and nephew George Moore of Lucasville.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Marion (Eddie) Tyler Jr; three brothers, Leon, James and Herbert Lehman; three sisters, Geneva Moore, Estella Dotson and Laura Belle Bailey.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Wednesday June 23, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville with private interment to take place at Memorial Burial Park.
