Matthew Aaron McCoy, 48, Cincinnati, formerly of South Webster, loving husband of Cindy (Gray) McCoy, adored father of Adam and Aaron, cherished son of Arnold and Wanda (Dials) McCoy, brother of Michael (Cathy) McCoy, and Mitchel (Jeanette) McCoy, son-in-law of Phyllis Gray, brother-in-law of Michael (Amy) Gray, Brian (Theresa) Gray, and Scott (Kelly) Gray, beloved nephew of Mary Ann Turner, and cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews; passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016.

A celebration in honor of Matt's life will take place Saturday, Feb. 13, 2:30 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church in South Webster. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Christ UMC. Family also will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 11, 4-7 p.m. at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church, 681 Mt. Moriah Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45245. A Celebration of Life also will be held Friday, Feb. 12, at 4:30 p.m. at Mt. Moriah UMC.

A 1990 graduate of Miami University and 1986 graduate of South Webster High School, Matthew had a successful career in Business Banking with PNC Bank. Matt's positive, gentle spirit, ever-present smile and love for his family influenced many in his brief life.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Matthew McCoy can be made to the Scioto Area Foundation -- Bloom Vernon Legacy Fund -- for a scholarship to benefit South Webster High School Students.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.  Local arrangements are being handled by D.W.
