Mattie Marie Deniston, 33 of Sciotoville passed away Monday January 16, 2017 at home. She was born January 13, 1984 in Ft. Polk, LA. a daughter of  Robert Lockert of West Portsmouth and Dorothy Doyle Deniston of Portsmouth. She was a 2003 graduate of Minford High School and loved to spend time with her children and family.

She is also survived by a son, Lucas Dorst and a daughter Caylee Dorst, both of Minford; one brother, Michael (Kellie) Doyle of Leesville, LA.; two sisters, Judy (Charles) Vastine of West Portsmouth and Corrina Devault of Portsmouth; a brother-in-law, Jake Queen; and many other nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mattie Doyle and Tafford, Kenneth Lockert and Betty; uncles, Morty Lockert and Tony Lockert; and an aunt, Bonnie Owers.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union Fellowship Hall.  Arrangements are being handled by D.W. Swick - Nelson Funeral Home in South Webster.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
