Maxine Bloomfield, 72 of New Boston died tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008. She was born August 10, 1936 in Portsmouth a daughter of the late Forrest and Clara Nue Gregory. She attended Ohio Ave. Christian Church and formerly worker in the laundrey dept. at Best Care. Maxine is survived by a son; Mark Bloomfield and wife Barbara of Otway, a daughter, Mindy Bloomfield of New Boston, 1 brother, William Gregory. three grandchildren, Brittany, Courtney, Garrett and her beloved cat Skinny. She was also preceded in death by a son, Mike Bloomfield and a brother, Charley Gregory. Services will be 2 PM Monday, Oct. 27, 2008 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Peter Michael officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday 6 to 8 PM and Monday 1 to 2 PM at D.W. Swick in New Boston.
